Our Organizations
A common misconception about going onto hospice is that it means you’re giving up. Hospice allows a patient facing a life-limiting illness to define what comfort care looks and feels like, and it has the goal of preserving his or her dignity. For Rich and Judy Gluck, dignity meant focusing on pain management in the comfort of home, where Rich could concentrate on spending quality time with his family before he passed.
