2023 Hike for Hope Exceeds Goal With $153k Raised Fundraiser benefits Hope Hospice patient care and community programs DUBLIN, CA – Despite drizzly weather, nearly 850 supporters of Hope Hospice gathered at Del Valle Regional Park on May 6 for the nonprofit organization’s signature Hike for Hope. 2022 Hike for Hope Results

DUBLIN, CA – The 2022 Hike for Hope on May 14 at Del Valle Regional Park broke both attendance and fundraising records with more than 1,300 registrants and over $180,000 in support raised for Hope Hospice’s patient care and community programs. The prior records were 702 hikers in 2011 and $114,758 in 2018. DUBLIN, CA – Hope Hospice is using animatronic pets to help lessen the impact that pandemic-related isolation has had on its patients. Joy for All Companion Pets™ by Ageless Innovation are robotic dog and cat toys designed specifically to comfort older adults in need of companionship; early studies specifically charted the benefits for people living with Alzheimer’s Disease and other forms of cognitive decline. The Hope Hospice and Home Health community returned to Livermore’s Del Valle Regional Park on May 4 for the ninth annual Hike for Hope, which raised more than $90,000 for Hope’s patient care and community services. The misty morning gave way to blue skies as more than 600 hikers and walkers hit the trails to support Hope’s mission to provide exceptional, compassionate patient care in our local communities. Registration is now open for the fifth annual Hope 100 Golf Marathon, which will take place on September 30, 2019, at Castlewood Country Club in Pleasanton. Commencing with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m., the day involves completing 100 holes at the beautiful Valley Course, with stops along the way for course refreshments and snacks. Hope 100 Golf Marathon fundraiser a success

At the crack of dawn on October 8, twenty golfers arrived at Castlewood Country Club in Pleasanton ready to take on a unique challenge: to complete 100 holes of golf – in one day, and raise funds to benefit Hope Hospice. By the end of the day, the Hope 100 Golf Marathon raised nearly $70,000. Jennifer Hansen has been named Chief Executive Officer (CEO) by the Hope Hospice Board of Directors. The Hike for Hope raises more than $90,000

The eighth annual Hike for Hope, a memorial hike and fundraiser for Hope Hospice, raised more than $90,000 for Hope Hospice. Held at Del Valle Regional Park in Livermore on May 19, the hike is one of Hope Hospice’s major fundraising events of the year. This year, 520 hikers registered to benefit Hope Hospice, remember loved ones and enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Hope Hospice receives major bequest

Hope Hospice recently received a substantial gift from the Fankhauser Family Trust that includes a residence and property near downtown Livermore. A generous supporter of many charities and organizations over the years, Livermore resident Henrietta “Henri” Fankhauser felt strongly enough about hospice care to leave this significant contribution to Hope. Her brother had received hospice care and she was familiar with Hope Hospice. As a way to memorialize her brother, she named Hope Hospice in her will in the early 2000s.
